Walki's Monster

Walki's Monster sounds like "an evil Janis Joplin", "a more sophisticated Siouxie". "With a powerful and unusually deep voice and a guitar in her hand, Walki's Monster lets us in her world where blues melts into goth and rock flavours." (Spider Web's Zine).

Liz Bentley

Liz Bentley is a published writer, comedienne, musician, mother, therapist and insomniac. She has been performing on the UK cabaret, poetry and comedy circuit for 5 years.

Last year she performed at Ledbury Poetry Festival, Liberty disability festival, Latitude, and Birmingham, Reading and Brighton comedy festivals. Her first solo show at the Edinburgh Fringe "I've Only Got Myself to Blame" won rave reviews and was a huge success.

"Truly the most indefinable act I have ever seen, so surreal I wouldn't want to have missed it" Three Weeks

Corey Orbison

We formed in 2004, inspired by our friends in the DIY queer punk feminist community that’s grown from the ignition of Ladyfests and the coals of riot grrrl. Our songs play upon the themes of treble, celebrity, resistance, loss, community, language, structure, friendship and contrast. Our style of music is the short and the sharp and the stop and the start.

I Don’t Exist – A film by Kanchi Wichmann

The film is a pavement movie that mixes humour with social commentary and an examination of one person’s fragile and erratic mental state. Her quest is compelling because it is an extreme version of something we all recognise. Waiting for a phone call from someone we’re in love with. The desire to give ourselves some importance. I Don’t Exist is described in the London Lesbian and Gay Film Festival (2004) programme as “a small gem.”

Rai Studley

Rai Studley writes about life, love, madness and the little things inside her head that refuse to be silenced.

Playing a mix of acoustic guitar-based tunes and some truly breathtaking acapella, her songs have a habit of touching something deep inside you.
